For any flight, you are allowed to take on board:
- Two personal items, with a maximum size of 9.8 inches length, 15.7 inches width, and 15.7 inches height each
- If your bags exceed the limit size, you can check them or pay a fee for an additional carry-on
ADDITIONAL CARRY-ON BAGGAGE
- The additional carry-on can measure up to 15.7 in length, 12.9 in width and 22.4 in heightand weigh up to 22 pounds (limited to one carry-on per customer)
- When paying for additional carry-on, you get priority boarding
- Save money paying for additional carry-ons in advance. Purchase it when booking your flight or before arriving at the airport

On domestic or international flights, you can check the following free of charge:
- One piece with a maximum weight of 55 pounds and a maximum dimension total of 62 inches (adding the width, height, and length)
IF YOU’RE CHECKING MORE THAN ONE BAG:
- Add up to 4 additional bags of 55 pounds each. Learn about the fees for additional services here.
- Save money by adding extra bags in advance. You can do this during the booking process or before arriving to the airport

PLEASE NOTE:
- The number of checked bags accepted depends on the space available on the flight
- Starting on the third additional bag, your baggage will be checked on a conditional basis. If there is not enough room for them on your flight, they’ll be sent on the next flight or by courier service. This may occur especially during peak travel seasons.
DON´T FORGET:
- Bags weighing more than 55 pounds will be subject to excess baggage fees
- None of your bags can weigh more than 99 pounds or measure more than 78.7 total inches (adding up the width, height, and length). If your bags exceed this limit, you can send them by cargo service (subject to availability)
- When checking bags, make sure that the bag tags have your name and the correct destination. When claiming your bags, make sure that the tag on your bag matches your receipt

PLEASE NOTE:
- Your sports equipment must weigh no more than 55 pounds
- The sum of its dimensions (height + length + width) should not exceed 98 total inches. Bear in mind that these dimensions will be considered only when paying the correspondent fee for this service
- Oversize and excess baggage fees may apply
- Sports equipment will not be accepted if it exceeds 99 pounds or 110 inches
- You’re responsible for packing your sports equipment. We recommend using a special case that fully protects it. Volaris takes no responsibility for any damage to sports equipment during the flight or when handled if it is not properly packed in resistant containers

PLEASE NOTE:
- Musical instruments can travel as carry-on items if their size does not exceed 12.99 x 15.74 x 22.44 inches and 22 pounds
- If the overall dimensions are greater than 51 inches, the instrument must be checked
- No musical instruments can travel as on board baggage if they exceed 22 pounds
- If you wish to travel with any musical instrument other than the ones listed above, you may do so as long as they meet the weight and size requirements
- Musical instruments must be packed in suitable (preferably rigid) cases
- Please note that excess baggage charges apply if your checked musical instrument exceeds 55 pounds
- Also, oversized baggage charges apply if the instrument exceeds 62.2 total inches (height + width + length)
- Consider that the maximum accepted size for a checked musical instrument is 78.7 total inches (height + width + length)
