One piece of hand luggage with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm (115cms) and not exceed 7kgs in weight in Economy Class and 12kgs in Business Class may be carried onboard, free of charge. These dimensions include wheels handles and side pockets. Any items you may wish to take into the cabin of the aircraft must be able to fit under the seat (e.g. a briefcase or flight bag). Please note that there are additional liquid restrictions apply for both international and domestic flights.
In case of international travel (travel to European cities), for economy class passengers, the weight of the check-in baggage should not exceed 23kg/50 lbs. If it is a domestic flight, then the economy class passengers can carry a bag of maximum weight 20kg/44 lbs as a check-in bag. Pearl class (Business Class) passengers are allowed to check-in a baggage of maximum weight 30kg/66 lbs in all routes. In case the weight of check-in baggage exceeds the maximum specified limit, then the airlines charges an excess baggage fee as per the applicable rate.
Air Seychelles also allows its passengers to carry sporting equipment totally free of charge withstanding a maximum weight of 20 kg/44 lbs. In case the weight of the sporting equipment is more than the specified limit, then it is adjusted with the check-in baggage and any excess baggage would be charged extra.
