Only one carry-on piece of baggage is accepted, within the size limit of 115 cm / 45 in when flying with Air Algerie. Some other permitted articles are:
- A hand bag, a purse.
- A coat, an umbrella, a cane.
- Camera, binoculars.
- A pram, a pushchair, a wheelchair, a pair of crutches.
- Food for babies.
Those who buy certain duty-free articles from the airport’s commercial areas should know that these articles or products are treated as any other carry-on baggage and will be deposited in the luggage compartment of the plane, given the fact that they respect the size limits (115 cm / 45 in) and quantities.
The items mentioned above, which can be carried on board free of charge, must meet the following class-based limits:

Your checked bag must comply with:
Size: The sum of the three dimensions (length + height + width) of a baggage must not exceed 158 cm.
Weight: For handling reasons, a bag must not exceed 32 Kg. Any heavier bags require separate shipping as cargo Air Algerie.
Bicycle in appropriate packaging :
Handlebar must be lengthwise turned – oriented along the frame, pedals and other prominent parts must be taken apart and tires pressure decreased. .
Music instruments : A music instrument weight must not exceed 23 Kg and the full size (length, height, width) must be up to 158 Cm. It must be put in a stiff suitcase. The airline accepts no responsibility for damages. Big instruments can be taken onboard to be carried on a seat booked in advance.
Sport equipments: Must comply with the following
1.Length, height, width less than or equivalent to 158 cm
2.Weight: less than or equivalent to 23 Kg
