On flights from airports in the Republic of Uzbekistan liquids carried in hand luggage must not exceed the volume of 100ml. Free cabin baggage limits  56cm x 45cm x 25cm .Liquids in containers of more than 100ml will not be accepted even in the case when the container is only partially filled. Container should be placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag of not more than 1 liter in volume, provided at the airport. Each passenger is allowed to have only one (1) transparent plastic bag of 1 liter in volume. An exception should be made for liquids bought in duty free shops at the airport or on board the aircraft, with the proviso that such a liquid packaged in a securely sealed plastic bag, in which there is good evidence that this packaging is done in airport duty-free shops or on board the aircraft in the day (s) of flight for both departing and transfer passengers.

Items accepted for carriage as checked baggage :

An exception should be made for medications, baby milk / food and dietary or medical products necessary to the passenger during the flight. In the carriage of such items at the request of the Aviation Security Service, the passenger must provide evidence to support their vital need for his health. On the label / recipe of prescribed medications the indicated names of the passenger must correspond to the names of his / her boarding pass. If the medication does not apply to drugs purchased with a prescription it is required to determine the required amount for use in flight and to get permission for carriage.

NOTE: The liquid means water and other drinks, soups, syrups, jams, stew, sauces and pastes, foods in sauces or containing large amounts of liquids, creams, lotions, cosmetics and oils, perfumes, sprays, gels, including hair and douche gels, the contents of containers under pressure, including shaving foam, other foams and deodorants, pastes, including toothpaste, a mixture of liquids with solids, mascara, lip gloss and chapstick and any products of similar consistency at room temperature.

Under the fluids used for medical purposes it is understood liquid medicines prescribed by the doctor or purchased without prescription.

Under the fluids used for dietary needs mean food, without which passenger health is threatened (baby food, special dietary products).

TRAVELLING WITH PETS:

A health certificate is required when transporting your pet according to the rules and regulations of the country of departure, arrival or transit. Uzbekistan Airways apply extra charges for transportation of animals. The following pets can travel with you in the cabin:

Dogs, cats, monkeys, birds. Pets which fit into a small or medium sized pet pack (max.8 kg with cage/container) can be carried into the passenger cabin. Otherwise, you can ship your pet as cargo.

Service dogs can be carried into the passenger cabin of the aircraft in collar and muzzle with no limitation in mass. For a Service Dog to travel with you in the aircraft cabin you must provide evidence of your disability.
