Crown Class Passengers
Crown class passengers are allowed two pieces of carry-on baggage in the cabin on all types of aircraft, except on Embraers where only one piece is allowed, according to the set size, weight and shape.

Economy Class Passengers
One piece of carry-on baggage is allowed per person according to the set size, weight and shape.
Each piece of Carry-on baggage for both Crown and Economy class shall meet the following conditions:

  • It shall be of a size, weight and shape to fit under a passenger seat or in an enclosed storage compartment;
  • Its weight shall not exceed 7 kgs.
  • It may have maximum dimensions of (9X16X20in) or (23X41X51cm) however, the sum of the three dimensions shall not exceed (45 inches) (115 cm). These dimensions include wheels, handles, side pockets, etc.

Special Note
In addition to the CARRY-ON allowance, the following can be accepted as carry-on items:

  • Passengers traveling with infants are allowed one fully collapsible stroller/push-chair or infant’s carrying basket that may be carried in the passenger cabin subject space availability.
  • An umbrella or walking stick.
  • A small camera.
  • A pair of binoculars.
  • A reasonable amount of reading material for the flight.
  • A pair of crutches and/or braces required by a passenger.
  • A laptop computer.

Infants
Passengers traveling with infants are allowed baby food and other necessities for the flight, to a maximum weight of 7 kgs/15 lbs., in addition to the carry-on allowance of the accompanying adult. Baby strollers/push-chairs may need to be checked in at the gate due to limited stowage in the aircraft cabin space.

Crown Class
Two pieces, the weight of the first is up to 30kg and the weight of the second is up to 23kg.The sum of the three dimensions of one piece must not exceed 158cm/62 inches

Economy Class
One piece, with a weight up to 30kg.
The sum of the three dimensions of one piece must not exceed 158cm (62 inches).

Infants Fare
One piece with a maximum weight of 10 kg/22 lbs the sum of the 3 dimensions must not exceed 115cm/45 inches, and a carry-on fully-collapsible child stroller/push-chair, or infant carrying basket or infant car seat, which may be carried in the passenger cabin

Pets Checked as Baggage
Pets such as dogs, cats and other small domestic animals accompanying a passenger on the same flight may be accepted as checked baggage. Pets will be treated as excess baggage and cannot be included in the checked baggage allowance. The following conditions must be met before acceptance on the flight.

  • The reservation must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time.
  • Approval is required from RJ’s Systems & Procedures Section.
  • A Maximum of 4 AVIH only, is allowed per aircraft.

Falcons in Cabin
Falcons may be carried in the cabin on limited occasions, especially in the Gulf area, provided the following is adhered to:

  • Falcons can be carried in Economy (Y/C) class only.
  • Falcons must be properly hooded.
  • Seats blocked for falcons and handlers must be window seats in the AFT areas of Y/C zone.
  • A chain or rope must be securely attached to the aircraft seat and the leg of each bird.
  • Valid health certificates and all other entry documents required by country of entry or transit must accompany the bird(s).
  • Falcons are accepted at the owner’s risk
  • The reservation must be arranged at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time and an approval is required from RJ’s Systems & Procedures Section.

Fees for Pets
Piece Concept charges for the carriage of accompanied pets shall be:

  • Twice the amount of the normal excess baggage charges for ONE extra piece not to exceed 32 KG or 70 LB and the sum of the 3 dimensions not to exceed 203 cm or 80 inches.
  • If the total dimensions exceed 203 cm or 80 inches or the weight of the kennel and the pet 32 KG or 70 LB:
    • Three times the normal excess baggage charges for the first 45 KG or 100 LB
    • Thereafter, for each additional 10 KG or 25 LB one additional excess baggage charge shall be levied

Important Notice
Charges
One falcon is charged three times the normal excess baggage rate. More than one falcon per handler will require the booking of an adjacent seat.

Maximum: two falcons per seat.
